The Major Chakras of the Body:
Root/Base Chakra - Red Located at the base of spine, your tailbone. All of the chakras spin clockwise and the root chakra grounds us to this world and spins the slowest.It channels the flow of energy downward through the feet and connects us to the earth. This chakra is activated when you come into the physical world.
Sacral Chakra - Orange Located in the lower abdomen, about four inches above the base chakra. It spins clockwise and vibrates to the color of orange. It activates all our senses; sight, sound, smell, taste and touch as well as our intuitive and emotional feelings. It motivates our desires and creative expression in this world.
Solar Plexus Chakra - Yellow The Solar Plexus chakra is located just behind the navel and spins clockwise to the color of bright, sunny yellow. This chakra covers decision, willpower and creative expression. This gives you the ability to make choices, assume responsibility for them and express willpower and creativity from God.
Heart Chakra - Green (Emerald) -Located in the area of your heart. Each chakra spins clockwise at a slightly faster rate than the previous one and your heart chakra vibrates to the color of emerald green.The heart chakra centers on our ability to give and receive love. It activates your morals and values and motivates you to accomplish your desires and goals. It regulates your clairsentience.
Throat Chakra - Blue (noon-day sky) -Located at the back of the neck, it spins clockwise to the color of a light blue noonday sky. Through the throat chakra you're able to listen to the words and thoughts of others and understand their perspective without judgment.Through this chakra we understand how we are connected.
Ear Chakras - Violet-Red - Located above each eyebrow, the ear chakras spin clockwise to the color of violet-red. Through this chakra you are connected to your angels, guides, higher self and all those other beings of the Light. Crown Chakra - Violet It's the thousand-petal lotus located inside the top of your head. It spins clockwise, the fastest of all your chakras to the color of deep violet.
