God, What is my purpose?
Before I went to sleep I had asked God to let me know what my purpose in this life was, career wise. And when I woke up the first thing that came to my mind was 'I speak God's language.'
I knew this was a sign. I felt that gut instinct that one feels but can't explain. I knew I was to do something that would have to be genuine and of good intent always keeping in mind that all I do and will do is for God's purpose.
God knows what is best for you. God is always looking out for your best interests. It's just up to you to realize this and be observant to those little signs. He sends you signs too to help you get on with your own unique purpose in this life. We're all part of that chain that keeps life humming along and for the most part we are all good people.
My dreams have helped me numerous times after asking for help before I go to sleep. The dream below is an example of such a request. I even use this method for readings if I'm taking a nap prior to one.
After you've read the dream you might wonder why she didn't release the elderly women to me. Well, when I was dreaming it I remember thinking I was pretty slick, knowing the answer because I'd overheard her say it to another. In the dream, the receptionist picked up on this and knew I wasn't offering my best intentions. In life, this is a reminder to me to always be genuine with everyone and everything.
The Dream:
A friend asked me to go to a hospital and pick up two elderly women who were being released. When I got there I walked up to the receptionist, accompanied by the daughter of the friend.
The receptionist was on the telephone when we approached and I heard her say, 'Do you speak God's language?'
The receptionist seemed satisfied with the answer and hung up. I handed her the form I had which was giving me permission to pick up the two elderly women.
When I handed it to her she said,
'What language do you speak?'
'I speak God's language.'
I smiled with confidence but she looked at me as if I were mocking her.
She went over the form and gave me various reasons why I couldn't pick up the women. I turned to the daughter and said, 'Are you keeping track of all these reasons too?' as I tried to retain it all so I could relay it to my friend. Shortly afterwards I woke up.
The dream reminded me that God's language is Love and if you come from any intention that isn't love-filled, it will backfire on you. When you come from Love, on the other hand, it will always bless you.
Love & Blessings,
Dallas
